hooligans.

for some reason tonight i was reminiscing about what me and my friends used to do in high school for fun. and all my favorite memories seem to be filled with vandalism, and trespassing.

well you see in my day i have ceran wrapped a bunch of cars.
and tp-ed quite a few houses.  (and forked, and tortillaed, and coned, and garage saled)
and snuck onto a few golf courses to go ice blocking.
but all that fun pretty much stopped when we turned 18.
i think the reason for stopping was that now we were "real adults" and if we were caught we could go to "real jail" for our crimes.

and im going to turn 21 this summer and sometimes i just want to go tp a house. but i feel like i am too old for that. and no one would want to go with me.

the other thing we use to do was go to elementary schools and play tag or sardines or virus or hide and go seek games. and i really miss it.

dirrrty shoes.

i get my shoes dirty.

i walk through the grass daily.
sometimes (when it has been raining/the sprinklers have been on) the grass is muddy.

but i just don't see the point in walking around on the sidewalks at cbu. because whoever laid out where sidewalks would go did not keep in mind the basic principle of "the shortest distance between two points is a straight line..."
there are even some sidewalks that lead to no where. the
y are just in the most random places and then they suddenly stop.

so i just walk across the grass.
and then my shoes get dirty.

but i really feel like that should be accepted. dirty shoes. that should be the norm.
i mean you are wearing these things on your feet so that your feet will stay dry, warm,  and protected.

i know that this is just now how it is. most people like to keep their shoes clean. and that's nice and all. but where is the fun in that?

that is a picture of my foot in cambodia. its all dirty from painting a hospital. and that is a gigantic snail. and in this picture my rainbow sandal is dirty and my foot is dirty.
and now it is 3:15 in the morning and i am rambling.

the begining of freedom.

i kicked off my spring break with the best kind of party you can go to... a wedding!!!!!!
kimie cook is now kimie klawer. and i still dont know what to do, should i change her name in my phone book? (yes i have first and last names entered in my cell)

their wedding was beautiful. it really excites me to think about them spending the rest of their lives together. i really know that they love each other but more importantly the both love Jesus. their wedding really was awesome because Christ was the center, and if you want to have a successful relationship that really is the only way to do it. EEEE!!!!! congratulations mr and mrs klawer!!!!!!
(this is a picture from when we camped out at the mo val chick fil a opening.)
kimie you really should start blogging.

after the wedding i freed the gold fishies in the fortuna fountain. im just waiting for my suspension now. because that is probably breaking some rule. but im pretty good at rule breaking. then me and nik went to drew and johnie mac's apartment and we hung out and had some friendship.

saturday i went out to dinner with the fam for jacob's 16th birthday!!!! for his birthday ate meat! after practicing vegetarianism for about a year he gave it up. so we got to go out for steak!

then i watched a movie with janai and holly. it was nice and relaxing.

today i went to junior high and daniel talked about job and how crazy his life was, yet he still continued to praise the lord when everything was falling apart around him. not to sound lame or anything but i really identify with this. it has been a hard year and i still know that God has a plan for my life and He is the only reason for doing anyhting. its hard to remember that everything i do need to be a reflection of Him working in me. but im trying.

then i walked with holly and bryce to cvs to buy popsicles. i realized that i love popsicles. i watched a movie, started to pack and walked to subway with holly for dinner. jacob came over and we went to sandals together.

now im at home watching some antm.
and i still have a whole week of spring break left!!!!

a saturday fulla riverside pride.

if i was a gangster i would for sure be in one of the gangs that is all about riverside pride.
i would get 951 tattooed on my back.
i would have a fatty rain cross sticker on my car.

saturday morning i DARED TO CARE.
pretty sweet way to start out the day. i would estimate about 300 people from the grove and the path of life shelter were there. we divided ourselves into groups and set off to clean up downtown riverside.

my team was pretty hardcore. we were out in a a dust storm cleaning up train tracks. my legs were sore today when i woke up. im not used to using the "bending over and picking up trash muscles" they are very similar to the "rice planing muscles" i used in cambodia.
(im at the end of the row planting with the locals.)

after the clean up everyone ate lunch together.
hot dogs + chili + cheese + onions = gas.
:]

then saturday night emily, cynthina, stephen, and i went to the mission inn to look at the lights and have a crazy intense photo shoot.
kettle corn!
pretty lights.
spider pig, spider pig, does whatever a spider pig does.
more pretty lights.
mish.
giant orange!
how much longer will this behavior be accepted? i really love taking pictures with my friends. but i cant picture a mature 20 year old doing this kind of thing.

just keep swimming...

tuesday night all the girls in my cottage went out for baskin robins for $1 scoops.

on the way home bethany got the bright idea to jump in the fountain at school and take pictures. so we got someone to be our photographer and ran over to the fountain.

we took our pictures and headed back to our cottage. but we didnt get any pictures with joel (our photographer) so we so a guy heading toward us so we waited for him to get close and we said, "hey would you please take a picture of us"

he said, "sure, after i write down your names and id numbers."
"wait, what?" we were so busted. apparently getting in the fountain is illegal.
so we were freaking out. i made our rd a card.

the next day i gave her the card and she said, "you know there is like a $100 fine for getting in the fountain."

but she was totally joking. we arnt in trouble at all.
oh college.
